Well, I'm pretty goddamn flattered

Its been a weird year... A lot of good, some very very bad, all forward moving.


- Terrible breakup...still going through the mire...the details are my business. I cant/wont post my feelings here.

- Full time work +20-30 hours of school per week since June

- Almost have my Associate of Science but will be sticking that in my back pocket while persuing the art career I ought to.

- No haunted house this year due to the passing of the owner of Spookyhouse

- Me and my work were featured on Dexter Season 4 Episodes 7-9...separate post on that

- Did a photoshoot with the awesome Lexie in October www.lexmachinaphoto.com ...I have the proofs but finished images will be coming soon on my website also in another post.

- Still playing tons of hockey though I've had a minor hickup lately. 4 days/week again soon.

- Making art serious business. Career time.

Toby is a sweet young Rottweiler at the Pasadena Humane Society, he was turned into the shelter because his lame ex-family is getting DIVORCED and since they couldn't be bothered to figure out who would take Toby and take care of him. He was driven to the shelter by the people he loved and put on a Euth list!!! Aren't people f'n awesome?!! So now its time for those who truly DO CARE about TOBY and other innocent pups and help them. Pasadena Humane loves Toby too, but they are so full and he has been there long enough now that he has been forced onto their Euth list (yes, in CA the shelters kill these dogs and cats for space) that's the facts. So Toby has until TOMORROW, TUES the 18th to get out of there. Can you help him? Even just hitting "SHARE" and re-posting this works miracles, so I'm asking everyone on my FB list to do just that and help get TOBY a miracle. He's housebroken, and GREAT WITH KIDS. Couldn't ask for a better new friend.

Please help this wonderful dog by sharing him, in case one of your friends or friend of friends might want to adopt him! This dog loves hugs!!! Toby's previous family said that he is great at dog parks, gets along with everyone and was raised with two little girls, is housebroken, and lived mostly inside. He's got a lot of energy but he's very appropriate. He knows sit and down. "Divorce" was the reason his family gave for turning him in. He did growl over his food bowl during the shelter's testing, likely why he is on the euth list so soon. He is only 4 years old.

Toby is URGENT - he was on the Pasadena shelter's euth list if space was needed, but got a reprieve until 8/18.

My boyfriend found 4 abandoned kittens at work, the busy Cerritos area...already found homes for probably two of them, but still need to find a home for the others. If you or anyone you know might want a kitten, they are super sweet and adorable, the colors are black and white (see foto below). Please let me know ...I know how expensive it can get to have to buy all the items necessary for a kitty/cat so I'm even willing to buy the litterbox, bag of food, and a little bed, just as long as they find a loving home.

i have a deviant art page now. i've put up a great deal of work there recently. i made this banner so put it to use and clickity click.

We got this cat (Kit or Rumpelstiltskin) from the shelter two months ago

She is a long-haired domestic tabby, perfectly house-trained and a very good cat. She gets along well with our small dog, but we are unable to keep her for a variety of reasons (bad allergies, expenses, etc)

She is currently being treated for ear mites with a home remedy, a quick vet visit would clear them up quickly. We just took her to the vet for a checkup and for treatment of an infection she got while in the shelter. She is up to date on all her shots and was also tested and cleared for feline leukemia and AIDS. Other than the ear mites, she is in perfect health.

Along with the cat, we will give you the brand new Budda brand litter box (really the best there is below a self cleaning one) and litter.

perfect life cast of the mans face last night (unlike the last one i fucked up). I believe some prosthetic work is due...

Keeping my workload light since The Joker and I have a rather large project we are shooting in October. I need to work on costuming and some wicked prosthetics for that. not to mention some casting for some other whiley characters. Just so you know, its going to be fabulous.

If anyone knows of a good vocational/adult ed school in the valley here or nearby that does something OTHER than ESL and Janitorial training, do let me know. I would like to learn welding and take a business accounting class.

Besides all that, things have been pretty good around these parts. Been hitting up the gym during my lunch hour so even if I'm not able to go after work, I've at least been able to get some of my anxiety out which makes our home a much happier one. lol. I've also reworked my schedule to allow for maximum awesomeness so that has so far been working out well.

Currently in MI visiting the maternal unit. Helpin her with her broke ass leg to move to China. Just a quick weekend but being away from the man and the boy is rough. Although I did rent me a nice **KiA** and was therefore able to see a couple friends that I hadn't seen in ages which was good for the soul.

Despite all the laughter that occured at the Big Apple restaurant, even more hysterics ensued when attempting to exit my luxery rental automobile. Most notably when a giant industrial sized screw came bouncing out of the door when I finally managed to jiggle the fucker open. Kias really ought to come with a jaws-o-life key fob. I guess I'll just pray the hunk of shit doesn't burst into flames while I'm inside. Although I bet I'd make a swell flesh imprint in the driver seat for someone to scrape up.

Other discoveries thus far have included my mother's satelite television ...and Futurama....sweet baby jesus in swaddling clothes that shit is goddamn hillarious....sometimes i think i am truly missing out. then again, i can always just download all the episodes comercial free online. And maybe its just me but television has certainly changed in the past 5 years...fuck wasting my money/time on that shit.

I added a bunch of communities on here yesterday and went exploring through their archives today. it certainly is interesting the things that you find when you have complimentary amounts of spare time and boredom mixed with paid internet usage. Once again I missed yet another convention due to my ceaseless busy-ness. Missing out sucks ass but in my absence I was able to do everything I needed to this weekend. I marveled at how imensly my sculpting has improved which I credit mainly to the use of better materials. I am also modeling this one off a picture I got off the sex offender website. He lives about a mile away from me and is one creepy looking fuck. Pictures as soon as its done.

Saturday Mike took us with him to meet his friend who was in town for the dance troup she instructs. We met her in hollywood and walked around a bit with her group of 12 year olds. Saw Damon performing in front of the chinese theater scaring the bejesus out of the tourists. It was grand. Even grander still, some douche dressed up in a cheap leatherface costume went after the girls and chased them down the street. You can imagine the frenzy that ensued. Even this night was not just fun and games though, watching these performers rake in even $5 bills for photo ops got us thinking about the profitability of such a marketing scheme. Shit, I'd make more doing that than i do here. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...dot dot dot

After a rather nonstop busy weekend I am back for another round of office space. fuuuuun. I wake up at the asscrack of dawn to go to do uninteresting shit in the company of uninteresting people in an even more uninteresting environment. As a general rule I avoid doing uninteresting things at nearly any cost but since this is not so bad as far as "jobs" go, I tolerate it. At least for now.

Things in my real life are kind of at a standstill right now as a lot of new things have come up. I'm in the waiting period limbo. Through the wonderful internet I met another detroiter in hollywood. she ended updoing a photoshoot with my friend and then we met real-life at the bondage ball earlier this month. She was with chaos productions (also from detroit) performing. Got to meet those cool people and as it turns out, Ally, the owner of Chaos is having me join. So that should be fun as hell. LA needs some detroit seasoning I think.

As for the home life, i think this is the longest we have ever lived anywhere so far which has its ups and downs. Mainly downs though since it is too small and has no dishwasher - although I bet I could solve that problem by making a trip down to the u-haul or home depot for some dish washer mexicans. At least the pathologicly lying manager has stopped wasting my time with his stupid fucking stories now that I bitched him out and put his ass in his place. I now have more time to do important things like figure out how to expand my studio further into the living room. Soon I will be sawing half the couch off to make room.

I am probably going to start writing here more. It helps to organize my brains.

oh and speaking of brains I am readin World War Z. So far I HIGHLY recommend it to anyone with a full skull.

there are days that i am so inexplicably irritated by the simple bullshit around me that i want to stomp on infants and pull out eyeballs and hack off tongues. It would appear that the general hate-o-meter has reached its peak so it is time to purge some evil. Meanwhile, the reflection off my headband has made a halo of holy light on my desk. I think the negro christ is mocking me.

Last week I was comissioned to do some custom DoomPops *tm for Rose the Miscreant and Babalon Photo so I dropped those off on Friday. Saturday I started work on an outfit for my shoot with Saryn next month. I used the unfinished skirt for my shoot with Optical Wasteland that night. Eric had his girlfriend Elise aka CeCe LaRue come along as reflector holder and fluffer. Much hillarity and blasphemy ensued. Pictures from that soon.

Last night i finally made it out to Malediction Society. I don't think I could have found worse music if I went spurlunking up a giant bat shitting gothique asshole. I guess i'm just not goth enough.....booohooo. I need music to kill to.
